Why link
A linked account proves that a player is yours. Store purchases are delivered to that player and your website profile shows your statistics. Typing a username is never enough: the link is always confirmed in-game or through Microsoft.
Link with an in-game code
- Sign in on the website and open Account → Link your Minecraft account (/account/link).
- Create a code. It has 6 characters and stays valid for 10 minutes. Creating a new code cancels the old one.
- Join the server and type
/link <code>in chat (for example/link AB12CD)./verifyworks too. - The website shows the linked player as soon as the code is used.
You can try a code at most once every 10 seconds in-game.
Link with Microsoft
If the link page shows a Microsoft button, you can sign in with the Microsoft account that owns your Minecraft profile instead. No code is needed.
Problems
- "Code expired": create a new one on the website; codes last 10 minutes.
- Wrong player linked: unlink it on the same page and link again from the right account.
- Still stuck? Open a ticket through Support.
