When he is here
The Traveling Merchant opens his wares every Saturday at 12:00 (Amsterdam time) and stays for 24 hours. The whole server gets a message when he arrives ("The Traveling Merchant has arrived at spawn!") and when he moves on.
He always stands at spawn as Vesh the Wanderer, next to the Traveling Merchant hologram. Outside his visit his menu shows when he returns.
Opening his menu
- Right-click Vesh the Wanderer at spawn, or
- type
/travelingmerchant(or/tmerchant) anywhere.
While he is here the menu shows how long he stays; while he is away it shows when he returns.
What he sells
- Up to four offers per visit, picked from a larger pool. He avoids repeating last visit's offers when he can.
- Each offer costs Souls, items, or both. Required items must match exactly: a renamed diamond is not a diamond.
- Stock is limited: every offer has between 1 and 15 in stock for the whole server, and some offers also have a limit per player. A sold-out offer stays in the menu as SOLD OUT.
Buying
- Click an offer and confirm.
- The price is taken and the item goes to your inventory.
- If it does not fit, it waits in
/rewards, and you are reminded when you join.
You can not trade with him while you are in combat (30 seconds after a PvP hit).
Tips
- Save up Souls during the week. See How Souls work.
- Be early: stock is shared by everyone.
