How the map is split

The Lifesteal world has two protected regions around the centre, and everything outside them is the Wilderness. Where they touch, spawn rules win. Your scoreboard shows the region you are in.

Spawn

The safe zone in the middle of the map, about 160 by 160 blocks.

  • No PvP. Nobody can hurt you, and you can not hurt anyone.
  • No building or breaking, no doors, buttons, chests or other containers.
  • No fall damage and no hunger.
  • No mobs spawn, and mobs can not hurt you.
  • Ender pearls and chorus fruit can not land in spawn when they come from outside. You can not pearl into spawn to escape a fight.

Warzone

A ring of roughly 60 to 80 blocks around spawn.

  • PvP is on. This is where fights happen.
  • No building or breaking, no doors, buttons, chests or other containers.
  • Fall damage and hunger work normally.
  • No mobs spawn, and mobs can not hurt you.
  • Pearling into the Warzone is allowed.

Wilderness

Everything outside spawn and the Warzone, up to the world border (about 2,500 blocks from spawn in each direction).

  • Normal survival: PvP, building, mining, mobs.
  • Build your base here, and claim it with your team so nobody else can break it (see Teams).
  • The overworld is always day, so look for mobs in caves and dark places.
